Ultimately responsible for the operation of the unit on their assigned shift as it relates to coordination of clinical care delivery, staffing, and physician satisfaction.
Responsible for cost targets as evidenced by meeting budget expectations.
Responsible for staff satisfaction as measured by percent of licensed turnover.
Responsible for employee satisfaction as evidenced by the annual employee survey.
Responsible for patient satisfaction as demonstrated by unit PSMS scores.
Responsible for unit staff meetings and town hall meetings with 75% of employees attending.
Must achieve satisfactory quality scores as evidenced by scores on departmental walk-through and chart reviews.
Performs management functions R/T HR activities such as employee counseling, monitoring of attendance and educational needs.
Responsible for accurate shift report.
2-3 years clinical experience
Current AL nursing license
Certified in CPR, NPR -W2 & NICU.
