RN/GN Med/Surg - 1.0 FT D/E/W
The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse/Graduate Nurse consistently performs his/her duties demonstrating an understanding of the essential job functions as reflected in the Medical Surgical Registered Nurse/Graduate Nurse job description, department and hospital policies, and regulatory guidelines. Provide direct professional nursing care for assigned patients while maintaining a safe patient care environment. Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices. Promote the health and well-being of the patient and significant other through the care continuum utilizing the nursing process. The Graduate Nurse will work providing patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse at all times. The Graduate Nurse will not assume charge responsibilities. AMNHC

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing Current PA Practice Permit/Registered Nurse license BLS required, must be completed prior to end of orientation period
