PRN Tier II RN opportunity for experienced RN with telemetry experience & Interest- rotating shifts.
Provides direct nursing care in a diverse healthcare environment in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
1.1 Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
1.2 Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
1.3 Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
1.4 Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
1.5 Complies with the terms of the RN PRN Commitment Agreement for Tier II: Hospital based; Unit based or central resource team based; 4 shifts per 4 weeks; 1 weekend shift per 4 weeks (can be counted toward 4-shift requirement); One major and one minor holiday; Must be able to work within one designated cluster.
COMPLEXITY OF WORK:
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
Required: Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
Required: Basic Life Support (BLS).
Required: Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.
Required: Two (2) years of acute care clinical experience.
